An operator saying it charges no withdrawal fee does not mean a payment route is cost-free. The receiving provider, an intermediary, the blockchain network or a currency conversion can affect the amount that reaches an account. Compare the result in the same units instead of comparing only a fee label.
Rollbit's payment documentation separates operator fees from network gas costs. LeoVegas's GB help notes that a bank or payment provider may charge even when the operator does not. Mr Green's general terms describe operator fees, and its other public payment guidance contains different figures. The Mr Green profile keeps that mismatch visible rather than choosing an optimistic number.
Start with a defined amount and currency
Write down the requested withdrawal amount, the account currency and the receiving currency. Without those three details, a comparison between a 100-unit request and a 96-unit bank credit may be impossible to interpret.
If the payment changes currencies, record the rate actually applied and when it was applied, where that information is available. A rate displayed by an unrelated currency search is a reference point, not proof of the rate used in the transaction. Also check whether the quoted rate already includes a provider margin.
Amounts expressed in the same symbol can still be misleading if one refers to an account display value and the other to a different asset or settlement unit. Keep the exact currency or token name in the record, especially when a cashier shows a converted estimate alongside the underlying balance.
Follow the deductions through the route
Use a simple chain: requested amount, operator deduction, amount released, route deduction and amount received. If conversion occurs, put the conversion step in the chain at the point where it actually happens. Do not subtract a fee twice because both a confirmation email and a bank entry mention it.
| Stage | Illustrative amount | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Request | 200 units | The amount instructed in the casino cashier |
| Operator fee | 2 units | Added separately or deducted from the request? |
| Released | 198 units | The amount confirmed as sent |
| Receiving charge | 3 units | A bank or wallet charge applied at receipt |
| Net receipt | 195 units | The amount actually available to you |
These are invented arithmetic values for explanation, not a published casino fee schedule. The example's total cost is five units. If the casino instead charged its fee separately, the received amount and total outlay would have to be described differently.
Fixed fees and percentage fees behave differently
A fixed two-unit fee represents 10% of a 20-unit withdrawal and 1% of a 200-unit withdrawal. A 1% percentage fee behaves differently, and a cap can alter its effect again. That explains the arithmetic; it does not mean you should continue gambling to make a withdrawal larger.
If you already have funds to withdraw, assess the available route for that balance. Do not add deposits or chase winnings simply to dilute a fixed fee. A smaller known charge can be preferable to further exposure to a game, but the choice depends on the actual permitted route and your circumstances.
Also distinguish a minimum withdrawal amount from a fee. A threshold determines whether the ordinary request is accepted; it is not automatically a charge. Ask support how to close or withdraw a small residual balance when the standard cashier route is unavailable.
Network costs can change between checks
A blockchain fee can vary with the network and transaction conditions. A figure seen in a help article may explain the category of cost without fixing the live amount. Check the final confirmation screen for the network, deduction and estimated receiving amount before interpreting the route.
The cheaper listed network is not a substitute for a supported receiving network. Saving a small fee does not help if the destination cannot credit the transfer. The crypto route checklist addresses the asset and network checks that come before a cost comparison.
If the fee is denominated in a different asset from the transferred token, write both units down. A single combined fiat estimate may be helpful, but its value can change and should not be confused with the actual amounts debited.
Currency movement is different from a fee
Suppose the number of crypto units received exactly matches the amount released, but their displayed cash value falls before you view the receiving account. That change can arise from a price movement rather than a withdrawal deduction. Conversely, a deducted number of token units can be a charge even if the market value rises.
The comparison should therefore separate units from valuation. Record the asset amount first; then describe any cash-equivalent estimate with its time and source. This prevents an asset-price change being incorrectly attributed to an operator or a bank.
The same care is useful for ordinary foreign-exchange payments. A currency conversion has a rate and may have an explicit fee or embedded margin. A bank credit alone may not reveal which organisation performed each step, so ask for the settlement currency and the payment breakdown if necessary.
What to ask when the received amount differs
Provide the withdrawal reference, requested amount and currency, confirmed released amount and currency, and the bank or wallet credit. Ask the operator to confirm its deduction and settlement currency. Ask the receiving provider to explain its charge or applied conversion where appropriate.
Avoid sending an unredacted full financial history when one relevant transaction is enough to ask the initial question. Keep identifiers that let support trace the payment, while using the secure submission method the organisation provides for personal evidence.
For an unresolved difference, retain the responses alongside the amounts. The payment evidence guide explains how to preserve a useful chronology, and the complaint guide covers escalation when a specific issue remains unanswered.
A complete cost comparison has a receiving result
The strongest comparison states the requested amount, all known deductions, the currencies and the resulting available credit. If an element is unknown, identify it as unknown. An incomplete zero-fee claim should not be treated as a complete promise about what will arrive.
Read the payment route and its restrictions at the same time as the costs. A fee figure has little practical value if the method is unavailable for your market or cannot receive funds from the original deposit source.
