Publication information

Privacy and browser storage

What the publication's pages do, how session preferences work and where hosting or external services can process information.

What these pages do

Etherealo provides public static pages and browser-based tools. It has no reader account, newsletter signup, payment collection or contact form. The calculator and filters work in the browser; their entries are not sent to an Etherealo application server by these pages.

No third-party analytics or advertising script is included in this publication. Reading content does not require an account with an operator.

Session preferences

The promotion feature uses session storage in your browser to remember dismissal, the last display time and which featured profile appears next. These preferences are limited to the browser session. They are not used to identify you or shared across devices.

If session storage is unavailable, the website remains usable. Closing the session or clearing the relevant browser storage can remove the preferences. Controls and article content do not depend on persistent storage.

When JavaScript is enabled, an operator-link click can place a non-personal event in page memory containing the operator, page path and link context. The included pages do not transmit that event to an analytics provider. Navigating to an operator still sends a request to that external service.

Do not enter personal information into a search or calculation field. The tool does not need account names, document details or financial records to explain its arithmetic.

Hosting and network requests

Serving a webpage can involve processing an IP address, request path, browser information and security-related records by hosting or network providers. Etherealo therefore does not claim that no data is processed merely because there is no analytics script.

The publication is intended to be served through Cloudflare Pages. Hosting-provider logging and security practices are governed by that provider and the publisher's account settings. Provider security features may use their own cookies or related mechanisms. The publication itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

External websites have their own policies

Following an operator, regulator or support link takes you to another service with its own privacy policy, account processes and possible cookies. Those services may process additional information, particularly if you register, make a payment or submit documents.

The site's referrer policy is designed to limit cross-origin referrer information to the origin in ordinary HTTPS navigation. It does not prevent the destination from receiving the network request itself.

Personal documents and enquiries

Do not send identity records, card details, account credentials or wallet recovery phrases to this publication. Operator verification belongs in that operator's authenticated secure channel. The corrections page explains how to record an accuracy issue without personal account files.

No verified publisher communication channel is currently listed. If one is published later, the privacy information should be updated to explain the associated enquiry handling before a collection form is introduced.

Changes

This notice describes the pages published on 9 October 2026. If accounts, forms, analytics or other data-processing features are added, the notice should be reviewed to match the actual service. Your browser and the external services you visit provide their own controls for their respective storage and processing.
